Made from macassar ebony, this elegant writing desk features marquetry of a wandering vine over a gold trellis. It features three dovetailed drawers. Two pullouts add convenient extra space, when needed, and repeat the wandering vine theme.
The desktop is a good example of the beauty that comes from carefully matched grain patterns. Gentle curves down the side of each leg terminate in solid brass feet. This is a luxurious piece that I am proud to have designed and made.
