This coffee table is an impressive example of the beauty of contrasting woods. The tabletop's center is made from holly with six inlaid galloping horses of lacewood. The center is surrounded by grain-matched crotch mahogany with an emberwood outer border. The mahogany base is a unique 3-leg design.
This table was a finalist in the 2002 Design Emphasis Competition. Design Emphasis is held every two years at the International Woodworking Fair, and is a highly regarded furniture design competition.
