The Adzema kitchen island was built to satisfy the client’s specific requests while matching the kitchen’s existing décor. The kitchen’s rustic oak cabinetry and hardwood floor called for an island that appeared authentically antique, with worn painted edges.
Its massive quarter sawn oak tabletop has the look and feel of a butcher's block. The tabletop's breadboard ends and visible joinery are further authentic details. The base holds three dovetailed drawers that can be opened from either side. The center door opens to a storage bin and one drawer. The storage space at each end holds an adjustable shelf. All these features add up to a functional, solid, and stable kitchen island.
